No registration is required to use the search engine and/or interface pages of this web site. The CIBC ADVANTEX Benefit program is operated by Advantex Marketing International Inc. (“Advantex”) on behalf of CIBC.
The privacy of our users is important to Advantex and CIBC. Aventuraadvantex.com does not collect any personally identifying information about users, except that which is knowingly and specifically supplied to Advantex by the user. Advantex will not disclose any personal information about users to any outside parties unless the user was advised of this possibility before providing the personal information.

All employees, contractors and other companies engaged by Advantex for work that involves access to personal information are contractually required to keep the information confidential and not to use it in any way other than what is necessary to perform their work for Advantex.

Participating merchants may collect and use information on users visiting their sites. Additional information may be collected by participating merchants through surveys and forms on their websites for their own marketing purposes. When users provide information while visiting a participating merchant’s website, it is the merchant’s site that collects the information. Please note that the privacy policies of merchants’ sites may differ from those of Advantex.
Some participating merchants may use cookies on their sites, however, Advantex has no access to or control over these cookies.
Promotional Communications
Aventuraadvantex.com may offer users who are also holders of eligible CIBC credit cards (“cardholder users”) the option of receiving notification by email of special offers by participating merchants and other promotional information. Cardholder users must consent to receive this valuable service.
From time to time Advantex may request information from cardholder users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and cardholder users therefore have the choice whether or not to disclose the requested information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as postal/zip code, age, gender, etc.). Contact information will be used to notify winners and award prizes. Survey information will be recorded on an individual basis for the purpose of monitoring or improving the quality of the program and program offerings.
If a cardholder user’s personally identifiable information changes (such as an email address), or if a cardholder user no longer desires to receive all or part of Advantex's services, Advantex will provide a way to correct or update that cardholder user’s personal data to the company's files. This can usually be done by sending an email to Customer Care.
Opting-Out
Cardholder users who sign up to receive promotional communications may cancel their subscription at any time through www.Aventuraadvantex.com Customer Care. Upon receiving a cancellation request, Advantex will make every effort to remove the cardholder user’s information from the time of the request going forward.
Notification of Changes
Advantex will post program updates, changes to this privacy policy, and other important information on the CIBC ADVANTEX Benefit website.

All inquiries and concerns will be fully investigated and answered by Advantex. If warranted, Advantex will take appropriate action to correct the offending policy or procedure. In the event that a cardholder user is dissatisfied with Advantex's response or action, the cardholder user should contact CIBC Customer Care within six months following the last response from Advantex.
